Some of them are as follows:

The most commonly performed test is oral glucose tolerance test. In this test, the woman has to drink 50g of glucose an hour before the test. Then, after an hour her blood glucose level will be checked so as to determine its presence in the body.

The woman also has to undergo  a three day long test. It is commonly known as 3 hour, 100g oral glucose test. During the test, the woman can eat anything for three days before the test, consuming at least 150g of carbohydrates every day. But the night before the test, she has to fast and the next morning she drinks a 100 g glucose solution and undergoes various other tests.
