Diabetes Mellitus Type II
Diabetes mellitus type ii is the most common
diabetes type found all over the world. Almost 95 percent of the people
are affected by it. Usually this type of diabetes starts once a person
crosses the age of 40. The diabetes mellitus type ii is more common in

Metabolic and
environmental factors are sometimes considered responsible for diabetes
mellitus type ii. Certain health problems like high blood pressure and
presence of high level of cholesterol in the body may also result in
mellitus diabetes.
Diabetes mellitus type ii is generally caused
by non-utilization of insulin produced in the Beta cells of the
pancreas. This results in less production of glucose and thus deficiency
of insulin which results in diabetes.
Most of the major symptoms
of type 2 diabetes are the same as type I diabetes symptoms. Some of the
initial type 2 diabetes symptom are:
1) Sudden weight loss.
2) Frequent urination mostly at the night time.
3) Feeling excessive thirst.
4) Blurred vision.
5) Excessive fatigue.
There is a little chance of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) occurring as an
added complication. But, the chances of deterioration of organs,
especially the cardiovascular system stand good if type II diabetes is
not diagnosed in time.
One should not neglect the diabetes
symptom but be always careful. One should consult doctor immediately as
soon as diagnosed with it.
