1) Type 1 diabetes The common type of diabetes is type 2 diabetes. Almost 90 to 95 % of diabetic patients have type 2 diabetes. In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas produce insulin, but due to unknown reasons, our body is not able to make use the insulin effectively, causing insulin resistance. Whereas, Gestational diabetes is normally occurs during pregnancy and ends after the mother gives birth. But, it can have more serious effects on the child.
